Sportsmed.SA is a multidisciplinary clinic of physiotherapists, sports physicians, surgeons and associated specialists comprising 30 practitioners and nearly 200 staff employed at the main Adelaide central Clinic at Stepney with Henley Beach, Morphet Vale and Darwin branches.

We opened in 1989 and are now the largest Clinic/Hospital/Day Surgery complex in the southern hemisphere one of the largest in the world. We provide over 100,000 patient visits and nearly 8,000 surgical procedures per year.

It was conceived and is wholly owned by the principal practitioners. We provide services to the whole of South Australia, Northern Territory and western Victoria, New South Wales and South Western Queensland and to Asian countries.

We also provide Specialised Sports and Arthroplasty (artificial joint) Surgery training to 3 young overseas surgeons per year who come to us from all over the globe. We get approximately 50 applicants per year for these positions.
