Calendar of Events 2010
In case you haven’t noticed – its February already! So get your diary out and mark off these dates for the ATC events this year!
10th - 11th April - VICTORIAN ENTRIES SELLING FAST
Only seven weeks to go until the Australian Tarmac Challenge Victoria kicks off on the 10th -11th of April. Have you got your entry in yet?
The event promises to have it all and includes the awesome Winton Motor Raceway, the challenging and unique DECA driver training centre and the highly revered Broadford Raceway, a venue rarely used for competition but an amazing circuit. Don’t forget the ‘ATC battle motorkhana’ Saturday night under lights on brand new bitumen at the spectator friendly Shepparton Showgrounds, it’s going to be a ripper!
All you need to do is get yourself to Shepparton on the Friday night, and let us do the rest! We promise to have you back in Melbourne in one piece and in time for dinner Sunday night. More details about this exciting event can be found on our events page here.

9th April - ROOKIE TRAINING DAY AT DECA
We are also holding a rookie training day at DECA on Friday of the event for anyone who has not competed in an ATC (or Dutton) event before. There are only 30 spots available for rookies that have registered and paid for the Victorian ATC event. So, if you are sitting on the fence, here is your chance to get some hot tips and shown the ropes by some previous ATC winners which will leave you well prepared for your first event.
The cost of the rookie day will be $99 including GST and it will run from 11am 'til 4pm on Friday 9th April. To register for the Rookie Day click here. Be sure to get in early as there are already plenty of rookies entered for the Vic ATC round.
26th June - DATES RELEASED FOR ATC NEW SOUTH WALES
Pencil in the weekend of June 26th for the NSW ATC event.
Based in Sydney, the event this year will take on the impressive Eastern Creek Raceway in its full form, utilising the track, skid pan and skid circuit on the Saturday of the event, and will also link over to the Western Sydney International Dragway for some quarter mile blasts!
The details of day 2 will be released in a couple of weeks when the permits will finally be approved for a range of special auto tests at a couple of ‘secret’ venues the ATC has in store.
Two days of packed motorsport action including what is the best motorsport facility in Australia for only $990 per entry? You bet. The New South Wales event this year promises to be an action-packed two days of competition and great fun!
6th – 8th August – WESTERN AUSTRALIAN ROUND IS GO FOR 2010
The Perth Round this year is back on the calendar, with an action packed 2 and a half days for what is going to be an awesome weekend.
Day 1 will be a ‘Friday night under lights’ shootout at the amazing Barbagallo circuit in Waneroo – go to work Friday and go racing Friday night!
Day 2 is the RAC centre for auto tests and sprints, as well as the Speed dome at Midlands for some tricky road-circuit based challenges.
Day 3 is at the Perth Motorplex for more fast, flowing stages, with the conclusion of the event in the afternoon.
We are really pleased to have Perth back on the calendar for this year, always a favourite of ours. For only $990 with venues like this, the value for money is unbelievable! Entries for the WA event will go on sale in 2 weeks.
OCT/NOV – Stay tuned for another date!
We are working on another Victorian Round for 2010, stay tuned for details, it will be worth the wait!

Round 2 of the Australian Tarmac Challenge has concluded in Murwillumbah with competitors sampling Rally Australia’s and the WRC Super Special Stage.
